David specializes in providing strategic, comprehensive advice in order to help successful attorneys, physicians, business owners and affluent families meet their financial goals. He prides himself on helping clients develop a long term vision and implementing plans that turn those goals into reality.

David joined Northwestern Mutual as an intern in February 1997 while he was attending UCLA. What originally started as a simple resume-builder for law school has turned into a nearly 20 year successful financial planning practice. Over time, David has seen clients faced with increasingly complex and evolving financial circumstances. He believes those issues are best solved through a combination of rigorous financial analysis, industry leading solutions, and a relationship-based focus on the psychology that leads to good planning. His favorite part of the business includes watching his long-term clients achieve their goals and thrive once they experience financial security.

David is certified with Series 6, Series 63, Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses. He obtained his CLU®, ChFC® designations and CFP® certification, and has employed two CFP® professionals on his team of staff.

  • CLU®Chartered Life Underwriter® designees have expertise in a broad array of personal risk management and life insurance planning issues for individuals, business owners and professional clients. Their training includes an emphasis on ethics, professionalism and a holistic and comprehensive approach to addressing insurance planning needs.
  • ChFC® - A Chartered Financial Consultant® is similar to a CFP; both cover the fundamentals of financial planning well. ChFC is an advanced planning designation that also covers real-world, practical planning applications for special circumstances, including in-depth coverage of planning for business owners, single-parent and blended families, LGBT families and special-needs situations. The program also addresses retirement income planning, behavioral finance issues, estate planning and the most current planning standards and practices.
  • CFP® – The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification indicates that the representative has in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of personal financial planning, tax planning, employee benefits and retirement planning, estate planning, investment management, and insurance and risk management.
