David is a born and raised Angeleno. He currently resides in West Los Angeles with his wife, Dana, an attorney, and their two young daughters, Alexa and Elizabeth.

David is a zealous foodie and enjoys cooking and trying new recipes. He also enjoys fly fishing, gardening, and the great outdoors -- especially hanging out in the Sierras. David is loyal Dodger’s supporter and a rabid UCLA fan, which is his alma mater.

David is an active member of the community. He currently sits on the Board of Trustees for UCLA UniCamp, the official student charity of UCLA, where he assists with fundraising efforts and serves as treasurer for the organization. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from low-income families to envision brighter futures by sending them -- along with 350 student volunteers -- to its residential outdoor summer camp. David worked as a counselor at the camp during his undergrad at UCLA. During this time, one of his campers -- a young boy living in a group home -- was murdered. This tragic experience fueled David with a passion to do good, educate, and empower young kids with opportunity when they feel there is none.
